If you get PIP, DLA or Attendance Allowance, check if the person who looks after you can get Carer’s Allowance. If you can’t work because you’re sick or disabled. If you’re employed but you can’t work, you’ll usually get Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) from your employer for 28 weeks – check if you should get SSP.
The DWP will stop your PIP if they think the change means you can’t get it anymore, for example if: you went abroad for more than 13 weeks; you’ve been in a hospital, care home or prison for more than 4 weeks; You can check which changes of circumstances will stop you getting PIP.
